Revenue and royalties reporting (Engel & Völkers)
TypeScript front end and backend work on a royalties and revenue reporting tool that handles millions in revenue every year.

services / software development
I build web applications and APIs that are fast, maintainable and well tested – from MVP to scaling product. As an experienced freelancer I reinforce your team or take ownership of clearly defined parts of your system.

deliverables
You don’t judge software by its first release but by its twentieth. My goal is a codebase in which your team can still make changes quickly and safely two years from now. That means clear structure, end-to-end type safety with TypeScript, and tests that actually build confidence rather than just hitting a metric.
I work pragmatically: not every application needs microservices, and not every feature needs a new framework. I choose the simplest solution that reliably meets your requirements – and document why.
Team reinforcement. Your team has more planned than it can deliver. I get up to speed quickly, take features from ticket to release and bring experience from many projects and industries.
MVP and product launch. You want to get an idea in front of real users fast. I build a lean, solid foundation that can grow, instead of one that has to be rewritten after three months.
Frontend modernisation. Your web application is showing its age. I modernise incrementally – page by page or module by module – without a big-bang release and without downtime for your users.
APIs and integrations. Systems need to talk to each other: internal services, partner APIs, payment providers or AI services. I design clean interfaces with clear contracts and solid error handling.
I prefer short feedback loops: small pull requests, frequent releases, visible progress. Decisions with long-term impact go into short Architecture Decision Records, so it stays clear later why something was built the way it was.
Performance and accessibility aren’t extras for me. Fast load times, good Core Web Vitals and accessible interaction pay directly into user satisfaction, conversion and search visibility.
And because I don’t intend to stay forever, knowledge transfer is part of the work from day one. Through pairing, reviews and documentation I make sure your team understands the solution and can evolve it on its own.

process
Arrive on-site first, then deliver efficiently remote – anywhere in Germany and the DACH region.
30 minutes, free – goals, scope and whether we're a good fit.
A few days with your team to learn people, systems and domain.
Mostly remote, with fixed rituals and visits as needed.
Documentation and knowledge transfer – your team takes over.

Senior front-end engineer and team lead while building a deep-tech mobility startup – pragmatic, product-driven, milestones reached ahead of deadlines.
C#-based control and automation of a large environment of virtual and physical machines for IT training – as software developer and system architect.
faq
Yes, that's actually the most common setup. I work with your tools, processes and rhythm – from daily stand-ups to code reviews – and can take ownership of a clearly defined area.
For well-scoped work such as an MVP or a single module, yes. For larger projects I recommend involving someone from your team early so the knowledge stays in-house.
My focus is TypeScript across the stack: React and Next.js on the frontend, Node.js on the backend. In existing systems I also work with .NET, Java or Go.
With automated tests at the right levels, type safety, code reviews and small, frequent releases. Quality isn't a separate project phase for me – it's part of every change.
